970998_10152823280530384_218152759_nI found this recipe as I was clipping coupons and I had to try it. It sounded easy and since I had a coupon it made the Johnsonville Chicken Sausage even cheaper so I thought I would give it a try. It actually came out very good and even got Xavier’s approval! I will 100% make this again for the family! I love easy yummy dinners, especially when they are not budget breakers and simple to make! Enjoy!

Sausage Penne Bake Review

182162_10152006675670384_1514104068_n

Yesterday I got creative and made another Pinterest find. I saw a link to a Sausage Penne Pasta bake a few weeks ago and I bought the stuff and saved it until I knew I would have a busy day. It seemed easy enough to be able to throw together fast and still not have a late dinner. I was right, and I am going to remember this recipe for days like that. It tastes and looks like you spent hours making it, but really it took like 15 minutes to prep and 45 minutes to bake…give or take. Super simple, but super yummy.

I usually am good with going strict with the recipe give or take a few things, but this one I changed up more then usual, just because I had some extra things I wanted to put in and some things I wanted to leave out. So…....

Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Chicken Breast Review

20120808_170941

When I saw this picture and recipe on Pinterest (CAME FROM THIS BLOG) I have to admit, I was intimidated because I never “stuffed chicken” before. I know all you do is slice the middle and add some junk in there and bake, honestly easy right? I think it just sounds hard and I was always scared of it. Well, when I saw this recipe and saw the middle would have to do with cream cheese, I had to make it. Who doesn’t like cream cheese (besides my hubby but I don’t care) haha. Remember, I take no credit for this recipe, I am just a stay at home mom that follows recipes…coming up with them….hahaha….ya right….maybe one day! Please….all credit for this yumminess goes HERE!

Is it hard to make? Honestly NO! It does take time, I probably made it a little harder and time consuming than it should/could ...

Yummy…yet not so healthy breakfast….TREAT!

20120224_115227

This is the most yummy breakfast treat that I made for Xavier. I got the recipe from a site on Pinterest. I went to find the site to do this review, but I cannot find it, so if you know the site, I would love to give credit to this site…because whoever thought of this….is awesome in my book.

How do you make it….it is easy.

Spread cream cheese on one side of a piece of white bread. Then dip the other side in butter and sprinkle with Cinnamon and sugar. Roll it and bake in the oven….350 for about 10-15 minutes, just keep checking until the rolls are crunchy!

Let me tell you, this is like heaven in your mouth. I even ate one (okay 2) before I was pregnant! MMmmmm…and I will be making these again for Xavier as a treat one morning. These are cheap and easy, and a really nice treat.

I would make...

3 Cheese Chicken Alfredo Bake Review

My boys were very happy that I tried a new recipe tonight. It felt good to make a nice Sunday dinner. I went online to my “Dinners I want to try” board on Pinterest. I had everything in the house for “3 Cheese Chicken Alfredo Bake” by Plain Chicken. Please go to Plain Chicken for this recipe. Oh yea, I added Broccoli, you can never go wrong with adding broccoli to a cheesy Alfredo pasta, right?!

Cheesy Alfredo bake!

Is it hard to make? Is anything hard to make that I attempt? (lol) No, this recipe is simple. You just brown the chicken, boil the noodles and add all the ingredients into the pan and bake for 30 minutes! Easy!

Is it expensive? Nope, I would say you can get everything for around $10. Again, I even through in the frozen broccoli that I defrosted and added.

Did it go over well?...

Cookie Dough Dip Review

Cookie Dough Dip

My son saw a picture of this recipe around the time of his birthday. He thought it was real cookie dough until I explained to him what it was, and he insisted he needed this dip at his 4th birthday party also. I didn’t argue because it was an excuse to try it out…I have to admit, I usually do not eat stuff like that, but it looked so good I needed a taste.

Pinterest has a million different takes on this, but I used the recipe from “Add a Pinch.com’s blog“. I liked this recipe because it called for one ingredient that sounded like it would tie everything together better than the other ones that I read. If you want the recipe, please visit the Add a Pinch web site….!

Is it hard to make? If you call adding 7 items in a mixer and serving hard….then it is….other wise…SIMPLE!

Is it expensive? ...

Cake Batter Dip Review

Cake Batter Dip

Cake Batter Dip sounded interesting and as soon as my son saw this on Pinterest (yes my 4 year old sits there with me as I browse) he had to have it for his 4th birthday party. I used the recipe from “The Spiffy Cookie Blog” and it was really easy. Please, if you want the recipe visit “The Spiffy Cookie” by clicking on the link….!

Is it hard to make? Nope. Consists of 3 cheap ingredients (4 if you count the sprinkles you put on the top to make it extra cute)

Is it expensive? Nope. Under $5.00 if you check out your ads and maybe even have some coupons.

Did it go over well? I think I gave out the recipe to 3 people if I remember correctly…it could of been more…! I would say giving out the recipe at least once means it went over well.

Would you make this again? YES…it is cheap and simple...
