The neighbors are at it again. Seriously, I do not know how much more I can take before I go completely crazy on them all. Let me start off by saying this (again)! There has not been ONE time that we have ever left Rico’s dog poop in anyone’s yard, this includes the park, on the area by the sidewalk, ANYWHERE….we always pick it up….always. There has never been that time “oh we didn’t have a bag, it was just once”. NEVER. I cannot stress that more, and you know me, Miss. Outspoken, I would totally be honest and tell ya straight up if there has been a time….there hasn’t.
Yesterday was beautiful and Andrew was off so we surprised X by packing lunches and taking him to the park. I told Andrew “don’t worry about bringing a dog bag, if he goes I will just use the bag the lunch is in”. We had to go get the mail, and stuff before, so we just walked there first. Of course we didn’t even get to the park before Rico squatted and did his business. I had to empty out the lunch bag and carry everything separate to use the bag to clean up the little turds. (love that word)
We get to the park and the guy that takes care of our house, the church, and the park was there and we started talking. He brought up that there is someone in the church saying that we have not been cleaning up after our dog! He said he honestly didn’t know who it was (ya right) but he informed them he knew that we do because again, he takes the trash from the park and always sees our bags, and he has seen us cleaning up after our dog on walks. I even told him what just happened on the way to the park! Thank goodness he knows that it isn’t true, but I am soo upset because someone is outright making up these LIES. That is what it is, LIES.
First off, if you would see us not cleaning up our dog poop and it was near your yard…you would come out and tell that person, right? They can’t because we are not leaving the poop. Second, just because you do not see a bag in our hands for every walk, we put them in our pockets, we do not have to flash it…..but again, you are assuming. Seriously, these people have to be watching us like crazy, but if you are really watching us, you would see us cleaning up the poop…..so I just do not get it.
Then I have people telling me to “ignore it”. Seriously, how much is too much? This is starting to be harassment in the community. I understand people talk, but to make up stuff about us, it is just not right. I am not one to pull the race card ever….I usually never need to…but I am starting to think they are watching us and making up stuff because someone in the community doesn’t like Andrew and I’s relationship….and honestly…that is the way I am starting to feel.
Let me say this, I am going to keep up cleaning up my dogs shit, taking him for walks, and living my life. If you do not like us, so be it, but we are not going anywhere. Get over your insecurities and leave us alone…..
