I wish I would of taken a before picture so I didn’t have to try to explain my shelving in my kitchen. Well, when we moved into our house there is not a pantry, but there is a built in storage for can goods and food in the wall in the kitchen. The only problem with that, everyone can see everything and it honestly looked a mess, and we all know when one thing in the room is unorganized, the whole room looks cluttered.
Thanks to Pinterest (I love this site) I came up with using matching baskets and jars to organize all the foods in, that way it looks totally organized and you can put all your foods away and you can know when everything is. WONDERFUL! I don’t know why I can not come up with ideas like this on my own, my kitchen could of looked soo much nicer months ago.
I also organized my closets with the same baskets. I got the baskets at Garden Ridge for $4.99 each. I like them because they look wicker, but they aren’t, and since they are holding food, they are easy to wipe off and clean if something would happen to spill. I also found a little one for my counter to keep the Splenda and certain items that I use a lot so it doesn’t have to sit out and look cluttered, I can just stick it in the basket and bingo….looks nice and put away!

Wonderful blog! I found it while searching on Yahoo News. Do you have any tips on how to get listed in Yahoo News? I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there! Many thanks
