On 11.1.10 I had Gastric Bypass Surgery. A lot of people told me I was “taking the easy way out” but that was the farthest from the truth. The truth is, I prepped for 6 months, a lot of tests and things I had to go through before I was even able to submit to insurance to see if I could go through with the surgery. Those 6 months were the longest/shortest months of my life. I went through all the “what if’s” and I tried to mentally prepare myself for everything.
